Bob began his career in Real Estate Appraisal in 1992, with Real Estate appraisal firm Tilson & Becker. In 1997 after becoming State Certified, he went into business for himself, serving the Central Maryland & Eastern Shore areas. Approaching 32 years in the industry, Bob has made multiple connections with realtors, lenders, investors and many individual home-owners establishing himself as a credible, fair, and expert appraiser and valuator. In 2013, he partnered with Campanella Realty & Consulting to expand into Commercial & General appraising.

Bob is a Baltimore City native. Son of legendary Baltimore OB/GYN physician, the late Irvin M. Cushner, he grew up on Pill Hill in the Mt. Washington neighborhood. He graduated Park School in 1971 before moving to Maine to pursue his education at Nasson College and the University of Southern Maine - School of Business. Returning home in 1987, Bob studied Real Estate on various levels, brokerage, law, finance and eventually obtained a salesperson’s license in 1988. in 1992, after Real Estate Appraisal Licensing became mandatory nationwide, Bob obtained his Real Estate Appraiser license, taking the very first Exam offered for Real Estate Appraisal licensure in the State of Maryland. in 1993, after completing additional hours of experience, Bob obtained the next level of licensure as a Maryland Certified Residential Appraiser. Over the last 10 years, Bob has completed a number of commercial appraisals under the mentorship of Joseph A. Campanella, a seasoned and well respected Commercial Valuation specialist in the Baltimore Metro area.

Bob is a huge sports fan, tennis player and avid musician since his early teens and continues playing music with friends and professionally with a local band in his spare time.
